I am always looking for ways to innovate, and the field of cyber security has given me that vehicle. Within this field there is so much innovation that could potentially happen over the next 20 years.

I love showing students what they are capable of. By the time they are done, they say, ‘I never thought I could do this.’ My job is to motivate them to help them reach their goals.”

Learning how to conduct research, how to think outside the box and being able to innovate, create new technologies and new ways of doing things is really what we want to pass on to our students.

I encourage my students to want to be the best. Many of them grasp that concept and they become super successful.
