Get Involved!

Make a Difference Through Personal Involvement

Whether you’re looking to assist alumni, current students, or prospective students, we hope you welcome the opportunity to get involved at the University of New Haven. Take a look at some of the volunteer opportunities we provide to find an activity that interests you. When an opportunity arises that meets your area of interest, we’ll get in contact with you.

Spread the Word About The Charger Challenge!

The easiest way to get involved (aside from making a gift, of course) is to help spread the word about The Charger Challenge. Tell your friends, loved ones and coworkers about why you think the University of New Haven is a worthwhile investment.

Assist With Career Development

One of the most significant ways to get involved at the University of New Haven is by participating in the many programs and events offered by the University’s Career Development Center. You can attend networking events, identify jobs and internships at your company, help conduct mock interviews, and much more.

Assist With Admissions / Recruiting

Designed to connect directly with prospective students in a variety of ways, alumni can greatly enhance the efforts of the University’s admissions programs. You can represent the University at regional or on-campus events, contact students and their parents, refer new students, and more.

Speaking Opportunities

We welcome our alumni back to campus to speak to our students and share their career experiences. One of the best ways we can teach our students is by learning directly from our very own knowledgeable and experienced alumni. You can speak at a University event, be a guest lecturer in a class, conduct seminars or workshops, and more.

Volunteer Outreach

The Office of Alumni Relations often hosts special events in various locations across the U.S. We encourage our alumni to attend these events as well as serve as an outreach coordinator. You can attend University events in your area, serve as a outreach coordinator for events in your area, take part in community service projects hosted by the University, and more.

International Opportunities

Many of our 54,000+ alumni live and work outside the United States. Alumni Abroad can refer prospective students to the University of New Haven, attend or host events, do volunteer outreach on the University’s behalf, and more.
“Our students are learning that their pursuit of knowledge is a starting point for implementing innovative ideas that have the potential to change the world.”
